Privacy Policy

Florida Roofer Hub ("we," "us," or "our") operates a free directory of Florida roofing contractors. This policy explains what information we collect from homeowners and roofing businesses who use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We collect only what's needed to run the directory:

• Account information. If you create an account to claim or manage a listing, we collect your name, email address, and phone number.
• Listing information. Business name, address, phone, website, social links, services, photos, and description submitted by roofers.
• Quote requests. If you contact a roofer through a listing's quote form, we collect your name, phone number, optional email, and message, and send it to that business.
• Payment information. Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that under its own security standards.
• Usage analytics. We record aggregate profile views and search appearances per listing (so premium owners can see how often they're found) and basic, non-identifying traffic analytics. This data isn't tied to your identity.
• Cookies. A session cookie keeps you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

• Operate and maintain the directory, including your account and listings.
• Deliver quote requests from homeowners to the roofer they contacted.
• Process premium subscription payments and send billing receipts.
• Send transactional emails: claim approvals, listing approvals, new-lead alerts, and account notices.
• Verify business details against Google's Places data when a roofer links their business.
• Detect and prevent abuse of public forms (e.g. rate-limiting spam submissions).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

These providers process data on our behalf, under their own privacy and security terms:

• Supabase — hosts our database, file storage, and account authentication.
• Stripe — processes premium subscription payments.
• Resend — delivers transactional emails (approvals, alerts, receipts).
• Google Places API — looks up verified business details and ratings for roofers who choose to link their Google Business Profile.
• Vercel — hosts the site and provides basic, anonymized traffic analytics.

We keep account and listing data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deleting your account releases any listings you own back to the directory (so the business can be re-claimed by its rightful owner) and permanently removes your account. To request deletion of other information we hold about you, email us at info@floridarooferhub.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below and we'll respond as soon as we can.

Florida Roofer Hub is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
